- In the CTE Introduction course, you will participate in activity-centered lessons to utilize technology, develop beginning skills, and explore careers.
- Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance will assist you in planning your personal education and career goals. You’ll get to participate in self-appraisal and self-improvement activities, and learn decision-making and planning skills.
- Through an ongoing partnership involving you, your parents, and your school counselor, you will be guided through creating a Student Education Occupation Plan (SEOP). An SEOP reflects your accomplishments and strengths, and offers you the tools you need to plan and manage education and career.
- The Utah High School to College and Career Pathways Student Guide can help you identify the Career Pathways that best suit you.
- The Career Pathways Passport is a great way to organize your high school courses so you can track your progress along both your career pathway, and toward high school graduation.
- The Skill Certificate program offers opportunities to receive “Skill Certificates” to verify skill attainment in courses and programs in any of the eight CTE Areas of Study. The certificates you earn can be used as evidence of your accomplishments when you seek a job or apply for further education and training.
- Work-Based Learning lets you see how classroom instruction connects to the world of work and future career opportunities. Work-Based Learning experiences are available in each CTE Pathway and include:
